Nothing easy here.

Wall Type determines the required bolt length needed to pass through the hold and the climbing wall. If you are not purchasing hardware, this option doesn't matter.

Overview

XXL Facet Rail #5 has a 3/4" deep, slightly sloping edge that runs the hold length. Everything else is harder to grip.

You can expect hard V2 from this hold on vertical walls, though getting V3 out of it is easy. This hold quickly feels in the V5 range on a 25-degree overhanging wall and V8+ on a 45-degree wall.

When this hold is oriented in the vertical position, it tapers from 3" wide to 3-3/4" wide, making the grip a very cool pinch. It feels like your thumb will skate off when you take the most positive side with your fingers and the sloping side with your thumb. Taking the positive side with your thumb and your fingers on the sloping side, the hold feels substantially harder, forcing you to engage in vise-grip mode.
