You're a beast if you can hang on this open-handed. Most use thumb catches.

Wall Type determines the required bolt length needed to pass through the hold and the climbing wall. If you are not purchasing hardware, this option doesn't matter.

Overview

XXL Facet Rail #3 has one 5" wide section that has a 5-degree incut, otherwise, this hold is neutral to slopey.  The boomerang shape is cool in that when you set your problems, forcing a cross-over on it, the contour of the hold creates a nice flow for the move. The hold sets itself in a way.

This is not a beginner's hold. This is a V3 hold on vertical, V4/5 on 25-degree walls, and V7+ on a 45. On a 45-degree wall, you can expect to be pinching this hold. The widths when pitching range from 1-3/4" to 2-3/4" wide.
