XXL Heart Jug

Overview

The Heart Jug has been re-designed with our Atomik 2.0 texture in January 2021. There are two jugs on the top. The incuts both point towards the center in a way that your thumbs end up touching and pointing towards each other. With that said, angling the hold to the left or right will make that side of the jug feel more comfortable. The jug is open-handed with a 45-degree incut so you can expect V0 on vertical walls and V2/3 in steep 45-degree plus terrain. The bonus on this shape is when you rotate it to the upside-down orientation. You'll get a tapered pinch with no incut which makes it feel V2 on vertical and V8+ in steep terrain. You can also get some comfortable side pull and undercling orientations. For a novelty hold, the Heart Jug offers quite a bit to intermediate and advanced climbers.
