Wall Type determines the required bolt length needed to pass through the hold and the climbing wall. If you are not purchasing hardware, this option doesn't matter.

Overview

  • WALL ANGLE: Useful on vertical walls to 35-degree overhanging walls.
  • SIZE: The average hold measures 3" wide x 2-1/2" tall x 1" standing off the wall.
  • DURABILITY: A custom mix of fine-grain crushed stone and polyurethane resin to resemble the hardness of natural limestone rock. The result is a "hard" resin surface that tolerates the sharpness of ice-climbing axes.
  • DISCLAIMER:  Use Drytooling resin holds only with your picks, not your crampons. This product does wear.
  • RESPONSIBILITY: Please be aware that it is unacceptable to drytool at your local crag. Drytooling damages natural rock. You should drytool only in places where the local community has dedicated the area and never on established rock climbing routes.
  • DRY TOOLING ETHICS: What You Should Know before heading out.

Description:

This set offers super technical and tiny placements that will test even the most advanced climbers. The placements are marginal on a competition-style hold. For a more straightforward set that appeals to the intermediate-advanced Drytooler, check out the 12 Medium Hedron Crimps. Super technical and best for advanced climbers looking to train for that next comp.

On the Backplate, there is about 1/2" of room between the crystal and the base of the hold.
