The XXXL Golfus Rail (Steep Wall) is the kind of hold that no matter where it is on your wall, you will be attracted to it. That's the aesthetic appeal of its length, which comes in at 28". When you get on to this hold, you will experience a glove-like feel of the many Golfus divots that run the length. The entire length of the rail is incut, ranging from 3/4" deep to 1-1/2" deep. It feels like a mini jug, a long mini jug.

With that said, this is a fantastic addition to a vertical where it will yield a beginner difficulty feeling hold in the V1 range. Some might even say V0. On a 45 degree wall, expect it to deliver in the V3/4 range. The steep incut on the rail keeps it's jug feel almost to a roof. In a roof, you are looking at V9+, where the sweet spots are necessary to locate.

When it comes to cost-effective eye candy, this hold is worthy of any wall. Your only regret with this hold is that you own only one. So if you are thinking of setting a route, you would not regret having more than one of these.

For shorter versions, check out the 5 Large Golfus Rails (Steep Wall). That set is very similar in design less the length.

  • Measures 28" wide x 3-1/2" tall x 1-5/8" off the wall
  • Great hold to spice up any terrain
  • V0/1 on vertical walls
  • V3/4 in steeper terrain
  • V9+ in a roof
  • The low profile makes it an excellent choice for home walls.
  • Texture: Atomik 2.0
