What we like about this brain-shaped sloper climbing hold is no matter your hand size, you'll find something to purchase. From the setter's point of view, in the horizontal plane, there's plenty of room for hands and even the hand-foot match. In the vertical orientation, things get spicy, because there are less choices to attach and less real estate to stand on when passing it. Though the hold is somewhat symmetrical, flipping it does change up the Brain Coral pattern for variety; however, we put forth our best effort to rid the hold of "sweet spot" so each orientation is a new learning experience for the climber and setter.
This XXXL rock wall hold stands about 6 inches off of the wall.
