XXL Limestone Sloper Tweak

Absolutely love the versatility of the XXL Limestone SloperTweak! This hold has a comfortable, easy on the fingers texture. Great looking hold that everyone wants to try, usually finding it more difficult than they thought. The difficulty can be easily changed with the rotation of the hold. It is more positive on the hypotenuse. We have an adjustable wall that shifts from 0 degrees Slab down to 50 degrees in 5 degree increments. This hold has been fun & challenging positioned as a side pull/pinch or horizontal positive side up when the wall is between 0 degrees & 25 degrees. From there, it really tests your grip!

Can be oriented as a slopey edge or pinch. A great value for such a large grip. And everyone asks where I got that one because it’s just a cool looking grip.

This hold is awesome. There are so many ways you can set with it and it adds a great degree of forced movement. Aesthetically, this hold is also eye catching. We currently have it on our vertical wall and will be moving it to the 30 degree wall next!

Incredible hold for a close to vertical part of the wall. Can turn it for a variety of challenges--we love it coming around a corner. On a strong slant, it is incredibly difficult (too difficult for us v2-v4 climbers).

In love with this hold. I will order more in the future. Has a great feeling and texture even though it doesn't look like it has. You can use t in soooo many ways.

I like this hold.  It is versatile, and I plan to buy more.  It is currently on a 30 deg overhang with the ledgy side up.  It has more grip on the overhang this way.  I think on lower angle walls, I can turn it upside down or sideways for a pinch.  It makes for a large one hand hold, or just enough for a two hand hold.  It is fun for sure.

I have this on my 25 degree wall and the hold is less than perpendicular to the ground, so it’s definitely a slope. However, it’s so large that you can fit both hands and create a lot of friction that really makes it a challenging but fun piece. We’ve ended a couple practice sessions seeing how long we can hang on to it. I lose all the time, but I am getting better!

These simple holds are awesome and have a lot of options you can do with them. Almost all 3 sides of them are tough and you really have to push hard with your fingers to hang onto these on any wall with a decent angle. I got 2 of these turned at different angles on my 20 degree wall and both are a good challenge. They are great for either a pinch style climb or a crimp style climb depending on the angle they are set.

This is a versatile sloper that will allow you use this hold in a variety of different ways depending on how steep your wall is and how you orient it. On a 40 degree wall it certainly packs a punch and make you pull really hard to stay on it. However, if you set it with the thumb catch it makes for a good slopey pinch and decreases the difficulty abit. The texture is good and is much needed in steep terrain.

It's great, what can I say? Atomik never lets me down. On vertical, it's a real nice hold that has just a little slope to it. So many ways to orient it to change the style. Expect it to be super challenging on overhanging routes. Super deal from the best company in the game!

This hold gets savage the more overhung the route.  On my 45 degree wall, it's a lot harder than it looks.  I spin it around always looking for the best orientation, but it's tough no matter what.  The underside has a decent divot so I can get a good pinch.  I also use the slopey side for side pulls.  The plan was to match on this hold, but the angle of my wall makes this more of a challenge than I thought. It's a great hold to bump from. It's a huge hold so you'll get lots of playtime as you explore it's options.

I set this hold on a slab portion of my home wall. This area is designated for my two young boys to climb on. By using this hold they have been learning how to utilize non positive hold technique as well as smearing. This hold would excel on vertical and slightly overhung faces depending on how difficult you want to make it.

This hold is a beauty. I have it on a 30° and it is beyond my ability to use it as a straight sloper comfortably which would put it in the v5 v6 range. But the good news is this hold is versatile it can be used as a sloper both ways and an easier pinch straight up and down. It's a great crux move for a problem and is a lot of hold for the money would definitely recommend

The best thing about this hold is how many ways you can use it. If its upright its a pretty good sloper that you can pinch pretty good, if its upside down its horrible, and if its vertical its a nice dish. I almost always use it right side up (the most obvious orientation) but its one of my favorite holds. I have it on a 35 degree wall and its a decent hold, normally not in the crux of a problem but not a good rest either. For larger holds its a really good value too. Likely going to buy another one for some gnarly gastons.

I'm using this on a 40 deg wall as a finish hold at the moment and it's super hard but super fun! Really forces you to find that sweet spot in body position and foot tension. Depending on how you use it, I'd ballpark it between V3-7 for an overhung wall. I plan on playing around with it as to where it's set because it's great as a slope, pinch, or challenging sidepull/undercling.

My wall is at 50 degrees and this is definitely not for beginners at that angle. Its also a difficult pinch depending on how you place it so I really like this hold! It would be much easier on a slab or maybe even a less steep wall. Can't recommend it enough!

multiple usages, slope, pinch (narrow and wide),  ledge , edge. It can be set on different angle walls. And it can give you a wide range of difficulty. Classic.

The first thing people say when they see my wall is “that’s a cool hold”. It shows that a lot of time went into its development. The tweak is a well thought out hold aesthetically and functionally. It works well rotated in any direction. Great for hand heal matches or any combo of matching body parts. I Have it on a 40* wall and it is a very hard slopey pinch. Also can be used as an amazing undercling stand starting hold. For the price you can’t beat this hold.

I bought two of these and one of the harder version. I use this as a finish rail with the positive side up or sloper side up for some technical fun. I like these because it really allows for a lot of variations and options. Allows for great pinching as well

Flat side was too much of a ledge for my flat wall, maybe a 5.10 hold? Would be much more challenging on anything negative. Great feeling and nice design, though, just not right for my wall.

Love this hold as it's big and super versitile! Multiple angles that work with it and at the price point there's nothing on the market that even comes close to the quality  and size.

Good for 2 hands, or a foot and a hand depending on the angle. I have this on my vertical section and use the slopier part ans a sort of rail... next gonna try it on my 15 degree and spin it to a more positive side. All in all, this is a great universal 2 hander hold for a great price!

Another excellent size and value hold with great incuts and sloppiness for low angle to overhung walls.  Very happy with the variety of ways to use this depending on the angle and rotation.  Great for my 20-degree and 40 degree overhung walls

This is my new favorite hold on my home wall.  It is a lot of fun and adds interest to our route setting.  It’s big enough to match and move my hands around on it.  I don’t find it super challenging in the current position on our 8 degree wall, I would say V2 with decent feet.  But I think we can move it around to increase the difficulty for sure.  Looking forward to try this on our under construction steep wall, and planning on buying the non-tweak in the future for the vertical and vertical-ish fun!

Very versatile hold. So far it has been used as a sloper, (difficult) pinch, and even for heel hooks. V2ish on vertical but currently one of the most challenging holds I have on my 45 degree wall.

I am currently using this gem on my tall vertical outdoor wall as a feature hold in a route built on the 10 Limestone edges set. Oriented with the long side up, it offers just enough sloper to challenge beginning climbers but enough depth to reassure them. I look forward to spinning this around on future resets and giving it some time on my 35 degree wall, as well.  Fantastic, versatile hold.

Have had the 'tweak' and the regular XXL Limestone slopers for years on my wall  This one is just a stretch out of reach for a first hold to start, and surprises many at how great you can catch hold and stay, enough  to move feet up and get  further for a better grip on next hold up. .  Just enough to make you worry.   Used on a vertical wall, doubt it would work easily on an overhang more than 95 or 100 degrees angle.  Great value for size and price.

I use this on my 20 degree overhang and its a great versatile hold. Texture is nice, the long side is less of a sloper and more of just a large edge/jug. Same with the small side that has a small divot. The other side though is definitely slopey and can be used to make some pretty hard problems. Would buy another one of these for sure.

A really interesting and multi-functional hold, though very difficult at the 40 degree angle of my board. At that angle, any moves coming into or out of this hold are probably a minimum of V6. Ideally, I think that this hold would work best at a lower angle where it could be used in a number of ways depending on how it was positioned and turned. The shortest side has the best edge, though still fairly slopey. I use it mainly as a pinch between the 2 shorter sides. The long side is almost unusable at 40 degrees, but on less-steep terrain would be a cool edge to play with as well.

I have this sloper on my ~45 degree wall and it's TOUGH, I love it though. The shape gives it a lot of variety in how you can use it. I'm not a very skilled climber, probably V3 on a good day for me, but I can 'just' use this on my routes. Makes for a good challenge and I love that I can use it as a sloper or a pinch of sorts.

Lots of variety for how you can set it. I like to use it part way up my routes, but I need to resort to using it to bump out to other holds until I get stronger. Makes a fun/tough final hold as well!

It can also make for some interesting foot hold positions, if you want to waste a really interesting hold on your feet :).

This one is fun. For me it's a little different than the stuff I normally order from Atomik and it has definitely added a lot of interest to my garage rock wall. I have it set on a 20 degree overhang section of my wall and it's tough. I'm not an advanced level climber but I'm no slouch either. This hold is challenging on the overhang. Love that it's kind of pinchy on the ends and that it has the limestone divots running through the middle of it. Those divots give you way more purchase for gripping. I've been practicing my sloper moves and this has been a great addition, really good for making sure you keep your body close to the wall. Very good price as well!

This hold is great! Anything past 30 degrees and it feels like Vhard. Each aspect of the hold has a nice dish or ledge with good texture to pinch or cling to. Once some chalk gets into the limestone texture this hold is eye catching from the ground. Price is good too. Recommended!

This hold is a great example of why we've stuck with Atomik holds. It can be used in several different orientations for a completely different feel so our home wall stays interesting over time. It's most obvious and approachable as a two-handed sloper in either horizontal orientation, but could also be a very challenging pinch oriented vertically. It feels V3 (or a very tough hold on a V2) on vertical-ish and would be very challenging on a significant overhang. I can't imagine the non-tweaked version, very glad we got this one.

I've been using this hold on my 30 degree overhanging wall and on my volumes.  It's positive enough to use on on the overhang, but expect V6+.  It can be used as a bad pinch in some positions but really works best as a standard sloper.  Enough texture to help stick, but it doesn't strip the skin off.  I love that it looks like a large hold and at the same won't take up a lot of real estate on my wall.

Our gym recently purchased this hold: it’s amazing!  Set on a vertical wall, on a 5.10d and there’s a constant search for that perfect sweet spot. It’s the best and yet worst hold of the climb!  It definitely could be oriented differently to make it more positive, if you were setting something lighter, and I’m sure we’ll use it many other ways in the future, but for this problem, it’s the bees!

This hold is 12-1/2" long and 4" wide  and stands 2" off the wall - in other words - it's big.  I own two of these.  One is on my overhanging section (about 20 degrees) and the other is on a vertical section.  For some bizarre reason, these holds always end up on one or more of the routes I set.  Maybe that's because they are so much fun to grab onto.  What's nice about this hold is it's not that easy to hold onto (for me anyway) but it's not so hard that it's frustrating.  I love that it can be used strictly as an open handed sloper or if you want to thumb scum on it to get some pinch action, you can do that too.  I have rotated this hold around and around and it's always interesting. It's holds like this that make me appreciate the challenges of designing climbing holds that really enhance the indoor climbing experience.  Atomik really does put a lot of energy into designing their holds.  Good stuff!!!
