The curve encourages a thumb-crimp and a pinky-crimp position beside your other fingers rather than on top of them as you would on a crimper. It's a great hold to train that hand skill on an easy hold like this. This jug is a good choice for climbers who have a smaller hand size. You can get&nbsp; 2 1/2 pads deep on it with your fingers. </span></p>
