First saw this at the climbing gym. They had it set as the finishing move for the 30 ft kids’ wall. My son (being both a dino-maniac and someone who intensely feared heights) was first incentivized to overcome his fear in order to reach this hold. Now he scrambles over just about any wall.
T. rex now adorns the dinosaur area of our 90-degree indoor wall, along with Atomik’s pterosaur and stegosaurus. Head is a knobby jug, legs are narrow pinches, tail is a deeply incut rail, and body could be a wide pinch with deeply incut top portion, so there’s something to grab for the whole family. Hold looks awesome in olive green. Thanks Atomik! What a great idea to get kiddos into climbing.
