The Black Mamba
I got this hold in black and thats how it got the name. Its fun to traverse this 3 FOOT LONG hold with bad feet. The divots are a nice surprise . If I decide to get savage one day ill put it on steep terrain and squeeze the venom out! Texture is perfect and is a well made hold. Price is right too. Get it!

Velvety texture, the difficulty ramps up very fast as the angle gets steeper. I like how narrow it is so it's easy to snake through other holds on the wall. My favorite orientation is vertical so you can carefully bump up a single hand a few times, super fun!

Fun hold
It is very fun hold. You can use to train your finger pinch strength. The hold is very high, but with shallow finger dent on the surface. It is not very hard to grab if you are intermedium climber.

Sneaky snake
On vertical to slightly overhanging terrain, the sweet spots are there, but you have to hunt for them. Setting it on a diagonal creates a sort of thin sloper staircase for your hands. This a great hold for setting desperate crux moves, as you move to its outer reaches. I recommend using 2” #8 set screws. I only had some 1-5/8” screws on-hand so I had to drill a few of the countersink holes a little deeper to make sure the screws bit into the plywood. Set this one amidst the 5 Large Golfus Rails and the XXL Golfus Rail (low profile) for some complex trickery that mimics the sandstone found in Virginia and West Virginia.

On and on
Wonderful hold. Its long and feels as though it will never end :-). Flip it over for an even more chalange or put it vertical for a crimp like hold.

Long rail
It's pretty cool, pretty long and helps me connect routes. It is a little awkward, I find myself setting around it instead of setting with it. All in all I like it, but the less positive side is not super workable even on vertical.
