Surprisingly large and versatile. The tapered egg shape allows for a variety of pinch difficulties. This versatility makes them adaptable to a variety of hand sizes and skill levels. My 7 year old can grab them near the top. And the finish is quite comfortable while maintaining adequate friction for grip. I have them hanging from ceiling rafters in our basement obstacle course/climbing roof. I used the shortest dynex slings (8”) for hanging, so they can also double as climbing holds when climbing the roof overhang.
