The 1" x 2-3/4" Bridges differ from our smaller 3/4" x 2" Bridges because they are more difficult to find the holes and dimples. This is because the 1" x 2-3/4" Bridge has more surface area yet has the same amount of holes and dimples as the smaller Bridge.
More precision is required on these 5/32" holes than on the 13/64" model. You get partial pick penetration for the tip of your pick. The beak of your pick does not go entirely through the 1/4" thick bridge.
This is a great hold to teach accurate tool placement, as well as teaching pressure control to stay on.
The bridge is attached perpendicular to the backplate.
