Overview

  • WALL ANGLE: Useful on vertical walls and volumes with vertical to sloping planes.
  • SIZE:  The smallest hold measures 3-3/8" wide x 2" tall x 1-3/8" standing off the wall.
  • SIZE:  The largest hold measures 5-7/8" wide x 3-1/4" tall x 1-7/8" standing off the wall.
  • DURABILITY: A custom mix of fine-grain crushed stone and polyurethane resin to resemble the hardness of natural limestone rock. The result is a "hard" resin surface that tolerates the sharpness of ice-climbing axes.
  • DISCLAIMER:  Use Drytooling resin holds only with your picks, not your crampons. This product does wear.
  • RESPONSIBILITY: Please be aware that it is unacceptable to drytool at your local crag. Drytooling damages natural rock. You should drytool only in places where the local community has dedicated the area and never on established rock climbing routes.
  • DRY TOOLING ETHICS: What You Should Know before heading out.

Description:

3/4" to 1"+ deep edges that excel on vertical terrain. Some of them are positive, where you can throw your tools on them with reckless abandon, others have a slightly less positive surface which forces you to play around with your tools to find the most useable surface with picks.

The less positive surfaced edges are great for working unstable moves.
