I purchased these in Orange 14-01 four years ago, the first holds I ever bought. While I recently built a large home gym, this is where it started. I rarely trained strength with them; I wouldn't just hang, feet off the ground. Instead, I used them to get a pump. I would put my feet up on a chair to simulate a 30 deg overhang, and switch hands moving in a circuit of the 12 holds in this collection. I'd set a tabata timer to beep every 10 - 15 seconds, and see how long I could hang on before the daggers in my forearms became unbearable. First, it was 3 minutes, then 4 minutes. In a few weeks, it was 8 or 9 minutes. It is a little bit different pump than rope climbing, but it certainly translates to outside. I remember being on a steep route, everyone else around me hangdogging, complaining about the pump, and I was just cruising. Now these 12 are just a few of the 300+ holds on my home wall, but they have a special place in my heart.
