In this set are 122 holds. It is just the holds for sale. The plywood panels in the photo are to show you exactly how to layout yours.

You can expect this set to yield V3 to V8 system training on a 100 to 120-degree wall.

A way you can figure out what grade your wall will feel like is to take your wall angle and compare the sloper to the angle of your wall.

As an example:

  • A 90-degree sloper is a ledge on a vertical wall. This hold is found in the Green Beginner part of this set.
  • A 90-degree sloper on a wall overhanging 10 degrees is a hold with a 10-degree slope. Very easy in the sloper world. V2/V4 feeling.
  • A 90-degree sloper on a 20-degree overhanging wall will be a hold with a 20-degree slope. That's Intermediate level strength. V5/V7 feeling.
  • A 90-degree sloper on a 30-degree overhanging wall will be a hold with a 30-degree slope. Advanced level strength is required. V8/V10 feeling.
  • A sloper that has an angle of 130 degrees/ 40-degree slope is near impossible to hang on. V12/V13 feeling as a guess. We tested this with some V12 climbers that couldn't hang on it.

Beginner holds are GREEN 16-13 (Click the links below to get more details)

HB 2" pinch @ 80 degrees = 5 sets ( 10 holds )
