Very big holds.

  • Overview
  • Reviews

The 5 XL Limestone Jugs are quite large, averaging 5" wide. With room for both hands, there is plenty of real estate to be grabbing. On a vertical wall, these come in at the easiest bouldering grade of V0.

The limestone design is very subtle, which offers a comfortable texture to the climber. Regardless of how you orient them, they deliver a big comfortable hold.

All but one of the holds can be hand-matched on. These unique holds (pinch, pocket, plate, a hidden solution pocket, and a multi-directional hold) are all incut and designed for left and right-hand orientation.

The profile is relatively short at 2-3/4", so they work well for home walls that don't have a lot of room on the wall but still need a big jug.

Expect V2 on a 45-degree wall.

  • SIZE: Averages 6-3/4" tall x 5" wide x 2-3/4" standing off the wall.
  • V0 on vertical walls.
  • V2 on 45-degree walls. Maybe even V1.
  • TEXTURE: The texture offers a skin-friendly grip that feels like natural rock.

Realistic Little Features for your Wall
These enormous jugs are like real rock shapes and textures you'll see at the crag. They make for excellent overhanging jugs. I've enjoyed arranging them together with other screw-ins to create unique slopers, underclings, cracks and other features on my wall.

Hand friendly jugs
Big jugs with real feeling textures. Nice starting hold for sit starts, nice jug for inclines, easy to grab hold for dynos. Good sizing - not too big to fit onto the wall, but big enough to get your entire hand on. Cool texture makes it easier to pinch the outside of the holds, or grab them like a sloper on the textured side as needed when set as an undercling or sidepull.

Nice texture
These holds feel really good in the hand. The texture is much smoother than the other XL Limestone sets. They're also not as positive, but they aren't roof jugs so that's to be expected. All except one can be matched on.
