Sloper and pinch rock climbing holds

The Atomik logo adds an appealing design aesthetic to these hand-size slopers, and pinch climbing holds. Placing these on a verticle climbing wall will yield a reasonably easy grade of V2-, while on semi-steep walls will generate about two to three grades harder. Once you hit a 45-degree wall, you can expect advanced level routes.

  • Approximate footprint 4" x 4"
  • Stands off the wall 2"
  • Bolt-on
  • Intermediate to advanced level difficulty

Pleasantly surprised
These were a very pleasant surprise. I added them to my cart on a whim thinking that if they were garbage I’m not out that much money and I would use them on vertical territory. They definitely are cooler than you think. Side pulls, underclings, pinches on steep terrain, these holds do it all. And not a bad price either.

Good variety of shapes.
This is a good mix of pinchers and slopers. It’s helpful that some can be rotated to make a pincher  or a Sloper.  The logo gives you a little extra finger holding when needed.

better than I thought
I use three of these on my 30 degree wall and they are very challenging but hope inspiring as a few times I have been able to make  slow controlled moves off of them. The other two I use on my vertical wall and with small feet you can fall off of them if you are not paying attention. great holds for focusing on body tension.

Good for vertical walls
These work great for use on a vertical home wall.  Quality variety of holds with a good grip.   You will need to build up some strength to use them on more sloped walls.

umm, can you hold these?
These are dang difficult to hold. If you're climbing double digits, these slopers are for you! I have them and they are set on a 25 degree wall. Not much texture, they feel slick, but there are ridges that give some purchase.

Good sloper-like holds
We got these to add to our the flat part of our wall as slopers. They work well for this, perhaps being a bit on the easy side due to the raised logo. On our 25-degree overhang they work for stemming and bumping, we are not able to use them as a single handhold when overhung, too slopey for us.
The exception might be the teardrop shaped ones, these we can almost pinch enough to put all your weight on.
Glad we got these, they feel good and are versatile.

Challenging, small slopers
We added these to our hangboard set up and it adds a nice level of difficulty to our hangboard workouts. I can not hang on just these slopers, so I usually hang use a jug + the sloper. The different shapes add value and variety and the relief logo adds just enough of a feature to help...a little.
