The 5 Large Dripstone Steep Wall Slopers is a set that can be used on vertical walls all the wall through to extremely steep walls. The Dripstone texture is functional in that it offers more grip than a traditional smoothed-out design.

The holds in this set are large enough to match on as well as hell-hook. The shapes do have an incut, which becomes more slopey as the wall gets steeper.

This set feels very positive on a vertical wall, so they are pretty easy to grip. They feel about V1 on a vertical wall, V2 on a 25-degree overhanging wall, and V4 on a 45-degree wall.

SIZE: On average, measures 5-5/8" wide x 4-1/4" tall x 2-1/2" standing off the wall.

As described, great addition to any home wall

Set with these higher on my 30 degree overhanging home wall along with the XL Steep Wall Slopers down low, made for a fun overhanging sloper route. The added dripstone texture made these just a bit easier, hence why I set these at the end of the route.
Due to my hand size these were in the 'almost full hand palm' range, and I could get some great purchase and pull down hard. I could see them offering more variation and pure 'slopiness' on steeper walls.

Fun Holds

These were a bit more juggy one way and slopey the other. Lots of fun to climb, play and set with. They got used on a 0 degree wall and a 20 degree wall. I used them as slopers, underclings, and smallish jugs. Very versatile and very well shaped. Also, for what it is worth, Fluorescent Purple is awesome.

Fantastic feel

These feel absolutely amazing. The texture doesn't get in the way of the grip at all and they feel really solid at about V4 on a 45 degree wall. They work great for heel hooks too! Large enough to match them without much trouble.

Excellent for overhung walls

We have a variable angle wall (10-30 degrees) and we've found that these holds in particular hold up at a wide range of angles. The feel changes almost from a jug-sloper hybrid to a deep edge-sloper thing to a true sloper with just the slightest thumb catch. My kids use them as two-handers and hang off them. They get much more use than our regular slopers. I'm pretty sure we could flip them 180 degrees to feel more like true slopers at the 10 degree overhang level but we haven't tried that yet. Excellent holds, like magnets for the hands.

Great texture

These holds are really fun and have good texture. We can just barely match on them. On a 40 degree wall, you can definitely throw for them and catch them one-handed.

Love my dragon eggs

I use these along with other more difficult Slopers because they are so positive... good for a heel hook or side pull. They work well on steep walls (45) as long as you keep your feet on something

Feel Good

These are nice good friction holds on my 30deg overhang wall. They are big enough to match on or move to dynamically. They are good start or finish holds.

Cozy

These were my "I hate slopers but I want to improve at them" holds. Texture is really friendly, smooth enough to save your skin but the little ridges give you a solid grip. They're about v2 on a 25 degree wall, and can be rotated to increase the difficulty.

positive slopers

These are nicely shaped positive slopers. I primarily use these on my 30 & 45 wall and they yield fun V4-V6 climbs.
