Looking at the pictures, you can probably see that each hold can offer a small, positive surface area. What the pictures don't show is just how VERSATILE these footholds are. This new facet design with multiple surface planes really shines on footholds. Some of these holds have five different possible ways you can orient them: from a negative surface that is basically a smear, to a small, neutral nub, all the way up to a small positive surface for overhangs. These are a blast to set with on any angle—you can provide as much or as little help as you want, and everywhere in between. Lastly, the less abrasive texture provides the perfect amount of grip. You will slip off if you are not disciplined with applying pressure to the hold, which is perfect for me, as I wanted these to help me with bettering my footwork.
