Great for vertical walls!
These are my first Atomik holds, and I have to say I love them.  I have a vertical wall that goes into a 45 degree wall on the roof.  I am a V4-5 climber and was looking for some challenging slopers.  These met the challenge!  On the roof they are seemingly impossible, I would place them like V10 neighbourhood.  However, on the vertical wall they are great, probably around V3.  The kids can do them (while holding some easier holds around them).  They are great for the feet as well, providing a large surface area to stand on and allowing you angle your foot in fun ways as well as heel hook.

You can grab the small ones and hold on with your fingers, the orange one is my favourite as it's a full-hand grabber, and the big blue one is fun to try and use two hands with.  I would even recommend getting two sets of these if you have a tall/long enough wall so you can make a full route using just these holds.

They are pretty smooth to the touch.  Not slippery, but not harsh sandpapery like you'd find in a climbing gym.  So they won't rip your skin off, but it also makes them a lot harder to hold on to.  I also feel like over time it's possible you'll wear it down with finger oils to become too smooth and much more difficult.  Brushing/cleaning and/or chalk likely would solve that problem.  Or just rotate it on the wall once one side gets worn!

They also feel solid and can hold my full weight (170lbs) no problem.  I have them backed into 2x4s behind the plywood.  Be sure to drill holes first as the screws that come with them can split 2x4s!
