Set #1 is the largest of the three sets in this series. Set#1 will be the set to get for your steep wall if you are trying to break into the V4+ range of climbing. There is a variety of pointed incuts for you to dig in with your feet that are all very positive, while there are about eight holds that are slightly more challenging to get a solid foot purchase.
This type of foothold is what intermediate to expert-level climbers want for their home wall. They require precision footwork while wearing a commercial climbing shoe. These sets are not for the tennis-shoe-wearing beginner.
