These are some of my favorite footholds on my 40-degree board. A few of the feet are all around slopey, but most have at least one positive side to them. They're obviously great on the kickboard when you want to force tension in the first couple moves, but I think they're even better on the actual 40-degree portion board where they require tremendous amounts of full-body tension. I've also used some as handholds along the arete of the board and they've worked really well as sloper sidepulls.
