This set of Brain Coral Crimps are designed to provide differing degrees of difficulty depending on the steepness of the wall they're on. They're slightly slopey, but their brain coral texture offers purchase for varying hand sizes. As foot holds, they're extremely positive, even on more steep walls.

  • 2"-2 3/4" in length
  • 1 1/2"-2 1/2" wide
  • 1" deep
  • Bolt on

Mixed feelings
I got these as the mixed fluorescent color set. They glow nicely with a black light. Blue and purple look pretty similar with the black light.
I didn’t realize until I opened them that about 3/4 of the surface of each have a deep coral pattern while 1/4 is smoother. The smooth section is still textured just without the deep coral ribs and is generally opposite of the crimp side.
I installed these on a vertical wall. Some give really positive grips because of the coral, but they give the feeling of crimping a much smaller in-cut edge. Some have the coral pattern in different directions. You are not sure if you are going to get a positive grip until your hands are on it.
Excellent as foot jibs.
