Our wood rock climbing hangboard is made out of Furniture Grade 3/4" Plywood.  It comes with 104 x 3/8" 4-prong t-nuts installed.  Take it out of the box and attach it over a doorway or other location where your feet can hang freely.

The board needs to be attached to wall studs. If your stud spacing is greater than 16", we recommend installing a piece of plywood large enough to capture multiple wall studs and then attach this hangboard to the plywood.

You will need to acquire climbing holds which you can find plenty of in our Amazon Store category Atomik Training.

Installation Tips:

  • The pre-drilled installation holes may not line up with your studs. They are machined at 16" center spacing.
  • Use a larger piece of plywood that does attach to multiple studs so that you can attach this board to it.
  • Check out the thumbnail image to the left for the installation sheet.

Details:

  • SIZE: Measures 36" wide x 12" tall x 1-1/2" standing off the wall.
  • 3/4" AC Plywood mounted on 3/4" furring strips.
  • CNC machined holes with 104 t-nuts installed.
  • Rough, sanded finish to decrease spinning of holds.
  • Climbing holds are not included but can be found in Hangboard holds, and System Holds.
  • The blue carabiner in the photo is for scale purposes only and is not included. It measures 4" long.
  • Product can be reviewed only after purchasing it

Excellent Training Tool
This has been a great training tool from starting at V1 and getting up to V6. I like throwing up one set each of slopers, pinches, and crimps. If it gets too easy, clip on weight to your harness or put up something more difficult. It's an awesome tool because you can find and throw on holds that are similar to the crux holds on your project. Look at Atomik system holds to find those.

Flexible Hangboard
Had been using a traditional fingerboard for years and got bored with it. Love the flexibility of this hangboard. Easy to swap holds to work on specific areas. Ended up buying a number of these and linked them together to create a mega hangboard.
