I like these for working on body position, balance, and technical routes. I put them on a bulging prow of a climbing wall that has about a 15 deg overhang in parts. I'm mixing them with small edge footholds. Together, it feels like an upper grade 5.11 climb. The grip area is pretty small and not enough purchase for serious pulls in my opinion, so it makes me have to work on technique and not just strength. They are sort of crimp like, but grip differently. There is a nice variety of incuts on them and they are all rounded as the description says. It was a to give my wall some vareity in addtion to jugs, slopers, and crimps.
