Overview

Traditional wood Pegboards wear out. The leverage from the peg eventually reams the hole, making the board substantially harder. Thus, the board itself is the weak point in pegboards. With Atomik's Pegboard Receivers, that will never happen as this product is manufactured out of premium grade resin and attaches to the face of your wall surface.

Atomik's Pegboard Receivers also gives you a bonus of being able to campus outside the Receiver. The "ball" part of this product measures 4-1/2" diameter, which feels like an incut sloper. If you can Pegboard, you can campus on the outside of the ball.

You get both the inserting of the wood peg, which trains the "hammer fist" grip position, and the outside, which introduces open-handed sloper training.

To install this product, attach them will #10 through-bolts. If you do not have access to behind your panel, you can secure them with #10 screws. Using a Structural Wood Screw does work; however, wood screws tend to loosen, especially when the athletes are over 200 pounds. Our advice is to install using the following INDUSTRIAL HARDWARE. This specific length works for installation on a 3/4" plywood panel.

The Pegboard Receiver measures 4-1/2" in diameter x 3-1/8" standing off the wall. The hole where the wood peg inserts are machined at 1-5/16" to receive the 1-1/4" hardwood dowels which are included.

The 1-5/16" hole is a 2-3/4" deep hole.

Install the Vertical Model Pegboard Reciever on a vertical surface only. When installed on a vertical surface, the hole where the wood peg inserts is parallel to the ground. The 1-1/4" peg inserts and removes freely.
