1" is a substantial size that the intermediate can train power endurance on. It's an endurance rung for the elite.

1.5" is a huge and really you are sloper training at this point. These sloper campus board rungs are an awesome size to train open handed.
2" is huge. Almost feels like a jug. Big moves on these or fantastic intro campus board rungs in to the world of campus training. This climbing rung is 16 inches wide.
2" is a Goliath of a rung. It just might be my favorite as it's big, slopey and comfortable to bump to.
