System Holds - Pockets

This hold is a perfect candidate for dead pointing otherwise known as target practice. A great way to train hand to eye coordination.

You can get 2 finger pads deep into it and 4 fingers wide.

Flip the hold over and you get a one finger pad deep and 4 fingers wide.

A really deep ( 3 finger pads ) 2 finger pocket.

Flip it over for a 1 1/2 pad pocket.

This 3 finger pocket is very similar to our simple line designs where your fingers lay into a nice rounded surface.

You get 2 full finger pads deep into it.

Flipping it over gives you a 1 finger pad deep pocket.

Though smaller than pocket #5, the 3 finger Pocket #6 is a little wider. You get 1 3/4 finger pads deep on the good side.

Flipping it over gives you a solid 1 1/4 finger pads.

If you are looking for a more middle of the road approach to difficulty in a pocket, this hold gives you pretty good versions on both sides.

Pockets #2, #3, #4 and #5 offer a really good hold on one side and flipping it over offers a second pocket which is much more shallow.

The new favorite pocket to our system holds line. Easily 3 finger pads deep and a rattling 3 fingers wide so there's lots of room to dead point to it. But that's not all. Check out the easy pinch or even easier using the "cheater" divot for your pointer finger. Should I keep going?
